Gregory R. Nugent

Greg Nugent, head of the Maryland practice group of The Lewis Law Firm, concentrates his practice in all areas of family law. Prior to joining the Firm in 1998, Mr. Nugent worked for seven years as an Assistant State's Attorney, prosecuting criminal cases in Cook County, Illinois.

A graduate of Boston College, Mr. Nugent attended Suffolk University Law School, where he earned his J.D. degree in 1989. For a number of years, he taught a review course on civil and criminal procedure and professional responsibility for experienced attorneys preparing to take the Maryland Bar exam. Mr. Nugent also is a frequent contributing writer for the Washington Business Journal.

He is a member of the Family Law Sections of the Maryland State Bar and Montgomery County Bar Associations, and the District of Columbia Bar. He also can communicate in American Sign Language. Mr. Nugent is a shareholder in The Lewis Law Firm.
